I’m from Carmel Valley, the Village more precisely, glad you got to see the majesty that is our area! The rides on the roads there are so fun, especially going over the Laureles Grade in Mid Valley and further down Carmel valley road toward King City you shoot over the Cachagua Grade to Cachagua. Both have great S-turns and are fun rides!

Southbound is better. 😀 I hope you can visit Half Moon Bay.

I'm 55 and I use every single bit of the 150 horsepower that my motorcycle has, every single time I ride it... It is way more capable than I am but I use every bit of it that I can as it puts a giant joker smile on my face every time. Also being 6'3 I would look like a monkey humping a football on this little machine. Love to looks of it but at 14k.... I could buy and completely restore a CB500

they are cool.. but not even close to 15 grand cool

Love the Janus and your story! The Brockway Mountain sticker caught my eye. Michigans UP is my favorite adventure destination. The 450 is my favorite iteration, hopefully test drive one soon!

Rather than drilling or louvering your fender you ought to relocate the oil cooler. The fender needs to deflect all the water and mud that it can, or it’s a useless fender. The oil cooler if it needs a little more airflow could be rotated 90 and moved left or right, for example.

I missed the live video, so I couldn't pop in and ask.....but can you PLEASE post a video on the bags that you provide. How do they attach/remove? How much capacity? You showed a little about it when talking about your local vendors, but you showed very little about it's functionality.

Very exciting! Great size & thin-ness. Great legibility with numbers on the dial and a second hand that isn't mirror polished (invisible). Lovely light dial. Delicious long lugs. Timeless blued hands...another masterpiece.

You could probably mount a 1 gal RotoPax on the right side. I carry 2 of the when I’m exploring on my Interceptor 650.

The watches are a great layer to add to rambling style. The brown leather one catches my eye. Will try to grab one...🌤💯☕⌚

Tim H418 250 Santa Monica mountains, California. The sound is great. Just finished a ramble in Yosemite last week. Wanted to let everybody know you don’t have to wait in the park entrance long lines when you’re on a Janus they let you go right to the front, no two hour wait
